Food: Our airfield restaurant is more than the traditional airfield portacabin café, but not a stuffy eatery. Locally sourced, well priced and hearty food keeps us busy and creates a buzzing atmosphere for you to enjoy which your family and friends can be a part of too. Our fast track system just for pilots means you don’t have to queue with the masses either – we treat you to VIP service from the front desk.

Club Nights: We host a range of evenings, from evening flying to Christmas socials with free wine and mince pies to talks from our club members (a B17 pilot, a submariner, a world famous sculptor and a falklands fighter pilot was the line up in 2011!). Enjoy cost-price drinks from the bar and reduced price food - and if you don’t fancy driving home you can camp over on our caravan site and enjoy great views and a Compton Breakfast in the morning!
Learning: Compton is an ideal place to learn to fly with a supportive club atmosphere, professional flying instructors and relaxed surroundings. Enjoy our flying buddies scheme where you can partner up with a student on a similar level and enjoy the added benefit of flying in the back seat on their lessons and vice versa, for free. Make the most of our club nights and fly outs which all add to your experience and provide you with so many more opportunities to learn and enhance your flying career.
